Taken from a forum in a discussion I had with other members on the subject very recently, some thoughts on the meeting:

It's not that they are "plotting something" they have been meeting every year since 1954, and the suspicion, which anyone who isn't a jackass would pick up pretty quickly, is the fact that the people meeting there are the most wealthy on the planet, and come from the media, the military, the banks, and politics. Basically, people that control the world.

And the meetings are secret.

But why should we be afraid of people just because they are super super rich?

These people know how the world operates.  They are not stupid, they are sharp minds.  And they have incredible power in the world, over billions of people.  Remember, these people are billionaires and come from high position politics, the military, the national media, and science. 

I know if I had billions of dollars, I would hire scientists to do some crazy shit, which I don't think most of you are ready to hear. Just imagine that I'm not the crazy person you probably think I am right now.  Imagine one of the people who is attending the meeting, taking into consideration their wealth and social status:

A nice property, mansion, all that great stuff, and laboratory and scientists working around the clock. A giant underground lab. How much would that cost? A few hundred million? And how much to pay off the scientists? Give them a few million a year and they'll keep their mouths shut. They get to do what they love and have a better living than they would if they worked in the private sector.

Looking to the Future...The Post-Human Era

Preparation is already underway.  Before you question my sanity, take a look at the facts. Some of the smartest humans on the planet are involved in a project called Human+.  They are a non-profit organization "dedicated to the ethical use of technology to extend human capabilities."  Although their website looks amature-ish and the photos of the people on there don't look like the type that would be working on the most controversial and ambitious project in human history, don't be fooled.  They are headed by 2 doctors, David Pearce and Nick Bostrom.  Read a little about them before you go any further and you will realize this organization means serious business.

Basically the goal of the transhumanist movement is to ultimately merge humans with machines thus making them immortal.  Now obviously this is a long process and will probably take a few hundred years, but not much more than that, IF that.  But the wheels are in motion.


It is inevitable that the ultra rich and powerful will be the first to have access to this technology.  The way it all unfolds is hard to predict, but here is what I think:

In the near future, stem cell research will start to be used with machines in an effort to create a cybernetic organism of some kind.  Experiments will be carried out and at some point there will be a way to keep a human brain and spinal cord alive and merge it with some sort of machine that will provide it with a constant supply of nutrients and the optimal conditions it requires.  Brain signals are all electricity, just like a circuit board in a computer.  It is possible, and will be possible to merge human consciousness with machines.  It has already been brought up among the scientific community and progress has already begun.

If you were a paranoid person, you might assume that the folks who actually run the world, that small percentage of people with all the money and power, that they will take advantage of this technology when it becomes available and are probably overseeing it right now and have been from the beginning.  And at the same time, are in the process of attempting to reduce the human population drastically in order to prepare for the posthuman era.

If you were not a paranoid person and trusted the morals of humanity, with the information available to you on this subject, you should assume that humanity is inevitably going to merge with technology and become something that will surpass anything science fiction has proposed in recent history.

MKULTRA - Illegal CIA Experiments on US and Canadian Citizens

It is a bit disturbing to read that the government that governs me and my family and the people I care about has been accused of such atrocities. Even worse is that these atrocities are fact and have been documented.
As alarming as this information may be to most people, it is information that should be known and spread among every citiezen of the world.

When I first heard about these experiments and really did some research, my entire outlook on life and the role of government changed. It's like finding out that your spouse has been doing sinister things behind your back and living a double life. My government is guilty of crimes against humanity but they will never be put on trial and will never have to answer for it.

THIS IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY

Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act, the documents that were not destroyed have been released and are available to the public.  They are not hard to obtain on the internet in .pdf format, and can also be viewed on webpages.  MKULTRA has indeed been brought to the attention of th epublic in 1975 by US Congress, but most of the documents pertaining to the experiments were destroyed.  However, over 20,000 documents did survive and are avaialable to the public.  The sad thing is, the government has made a strong committment to ensuring that very few people who were born after 1975 do not learn about MKULTRA in school and are not easily exposed to the information.  Nobody in the US Government was ever held responsible.

MKULTRA was an illegel research program run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence shortly after the Second World War and was sponsered by the CIA.  The purpose of this program was to perform experiments on human beings, ranging from administration of drugs, sensory deprivation, isolation, and verbal and physical abuse.  It seems the goal of this project was similar to the experiments carried out by doctors in Nazi Germany during the Holocaust, namely Dr Josef Mengele.  Be warned that the links on this post are disturbing and will change your view of the world we live in, if you aren't already living at the end of a rabbit hole.
